Wild Space Dance Company presents In: Site Dances for Washington Park
Adventurous site-based dances created for Washington Park’s landscaped beauty, local community, and the 200th Anniversary of park designer, Frederick Olmsted.
InSite choreographers, Alisha Jihn and Tisiphhani Mayfiels create an imaginative interplay of movement and dance shaped and inspired by place and design. Dancers emerge from brush and woods, a ravine site beckons, and solos erupt.
A bridge conveys dancers, trees create space, a lagoon site surprises, and seen across water, a dance at the Urban Ecology Center anchors the present with the past.
