The Utica Garden and Flower Show is a 2-day event featuring local gardens— many of which are located in Olmsted-designed neighborhoods— and showcasing floral designs and horticulture.
The Utica Garden Tour is a self-guided celebration of Utica’s gardens, including gardens throughout 2 of Utica’s 5 Olmsted-designed neighborhoods. Each garden is unique and showcases the individual style of our community’s homeowners and businesses. Garden tourists can visit the gardens in any order by driving or walking, just watch for the yellow signs and remember the hours for the event are from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, July 9. Maps can be picked up from the Utica Public Library lobby on Friday the 8th, or Saturday the 9th.
The Utica Flower Show is a standard judged Flower Show exhibiting the artistry, horticultural knowledge, and craftsmanship of garden club members to create the unique floral displays which will be placed throughout the historic Utica Public Library. Garden club members, Master Gardeners, and designers will be present to answer all your gardening and design questions. The Flower Show takes place Friday, July 8 from 2 to 6 and Saturday, July 9 from 10 to 3 at the Utica Public Library and admission is free.
We hope you will join us in re-discovering the many Olmsted-designed treasures located throughout Utica, NY.
