This year is the 200th birth anniversary of Frederick Law Olmsted, born in Hartford and known as the founder of American landscape architecture. His sons and successors, the Olmsted Brothers, designed Fulton Park, which has been dubbed the “Central Park” of Waterbury. Join us for a lecture given by previous Wadsworth Atheneum curator, William Hosley, to hear about the history of the park and the legacy this family left behind.

Brought back by popular demand, this lunch and lecture series is for those who enjoy good food and learning about Waterbury history. Participants may either order lunch from The Art of Yum or enjoy their own as they learn from a guest lecturer.
