In partnership with NYC Parks, the Fort Tryon Park Conservancy secures essential funding to sustain and support this triple landmarked park designed by the Olmsted brothers and gifted to New York City by John D. Rockefeller Jr in 1935. We support infrastructure repair and improvements; horticulture needs and historic preservation; and provide over 300 free, year-round public programs in education, art, dance, music, history, fitness, and nature.  Special features of the park include the Billings Arcade; sweeping Hudson River views; the largest public heath and heather garden on the east coast; the Alpine Garden; and the Met Cloisters Museum. Our mission serves nature, history, and community.
