Philip Schultz has been involved in housing development and management for more than 40 years— focusing on architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, finance and government relations. He is currently President of Midwest Affordable Housing Corporation. Schultz became interested in Frederick Law Olmsted in the 1980s when he and his wife purchased a home on Newberry Boulevard, which connects Lake Park to Riverside Park in Milwaukee, WI. He previously served as president of Lake Park Friends and Rotary Club of Milwaukee Ecology Committee. He is a 1975 graduate of Lawrence University with a B.A. in English Literature.

William Bell has been a practicing lawyer for over 40 years, specializing in maritime law and civil litigation. He’s currently Of Counsel to The Cook Group, a multi-state law firm based in New York. Bell earned a bachelor’s degree from Denison University, a master’s degree from Union Theological Seminary, and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He lives across from Central Park, where he enjoys Frederick Law Olmsted’s gem every day. He is Vice President and Membership Secretary of the Friends of Olmsted-Beil House and a vigorous ambassador for this important and historic landmark on Staten Island.

Stephanie Crockatt holds both her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Master of Parks and Recreation from Michigan State University. Her early career evolved from golf course design to eventually leading the fundraising development team at the University of Georgia’s College of Environment & Design. In 2014, she was recruited to be the Executive Director of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Her work there was transformational in terms of managing a nonprofit and managing a nationally renowned and award-winning Olmsted Park system. As of June 2023, Crockatt is the inaugural President & CEO of the Bay Park Conservancy (BPC) in Sarasota, FL.

Janet P. Atkins is the founder and CEO of Ridgeway Philanthropy LLC. Prior to its founding, she was the CEO & President of Philanthropic Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of Boston based law firm, Goulston & Storrs. Atkins’ primary focus is guiding individuals, families and foundations in the creation of philanthropic strategies to achieve productive, responsible charitable goals. Her leadership has guided the commitment of over $2 billion in philanthropic dollars for nonprofits domestically and internationally. Her career also includes major institutional advancement appointments at Duke University, University of Virginia, Emory University, Georgetown University and Harvard teaching hospitals. Atkins holds a B.A. and M.A. from Emory University, serves on the World Council of the YWCA and the Leventhal Map and Education Center. She was a former board member of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. She and her husband reside in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Mark Buscanio is the Executive Director of Casey Trees, working to restore, enhance and protect the tree canopy of the nation's capital. Originally from New Jersey, Buscaino received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine at Orono and a M.S. in Forest Resources Management/Silviculture from SUNY-ESF. He began his career in 1983 as a forestry program volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa. Since then, he has served in many forestry positions, such as the National Director for the USDA Forest Service's Urban and Community Forestry Program in Washington, D.C.

Ray Chambers began his career as chief of staff to members of Congress and then moved to the Executive Branch at the U.S. Department of Transportation as Director of Congressional Affairs. In the 1980s, Chambers created an association of entrepreneurs acquiring lines abandoned by large freight railroads, now known as the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association. As chief lobbyist for the short line group, he promoted “Rails to Trails” to preserve railroad rights of way. In 2010, he helped create and became president of the Association for Innovative Passenger Operations. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Redlands and holds an M.A. in government from Rutgers University.

Marjorie Greville received a B.A. at Salem College in North Carolina, a B.S. in Urban Landscape Architecture from City College in New York, and a Garden Conservation Degree from the Architectural Association in London. Married with three kids, her family lived overseas for thirteen years in Australia, Singapore, and London before moving to Brookline, MA. She now lives in Boston and South Dartmouth and serves on the Board of Directors for the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.

Salmaan Khan is Vice President for Planning and Research for the Central Park Conservancy, where he oversees long-term planning and historic research. In this role, he ensures the Conservancy’s work remains grounded in the historic context and purpose of the Park. He directs planning analyses and historical research needed to evaluate new and continuing partnerships and strategic efforts, and to inform modifications to the Park’s capital program. Khan previously served as the Manager of Capital Projects and Planning at Friends of the High Line, where he was involved in the first decade of the High Line’s development. He holds an M.A. in urban planning from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a B.A. in history from Fordham University.

Steven Livengood is Public Historian and Chief Guide at the U. S. Capitol Historical Society (USCHS). He regularly delivers tours about Frederick Law Olmsted and the Capitol Grounds and webinars about Olmsted and his sons. After earning a B.A. in political science at the American University in Washington D.C., and after serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Livengood was a doctoral candidate in U.S. History at Emory University. He served as an association executive and public affairs consultant before joining USCHS. He trains Congressional staff tour guides and Washington city tour guides and organizes volunteers for other Society programs, as well as leading specialized and VIP tours of the Capitol.

Bronwyn Nichols Lodato currently serves as President of the Midway Plaisance Advisory Council (MPAC), and Chair of the Board of Friends of the Parks, Chicago’s city-wide park advocacy organization. Nichols Lodato received a B.A. from Northwestern University, an M.A. in International Relations, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. She is an energetic proponent of parks as accessible, public spaces integral to the city’s infrastructure and vital to its citizens’ health.

Douglas Luetjen serves as the President of the Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks and co-chaired the Seattle Parks and Recreation Olmsted Legacy Task Force from 2018-2019. He is Of Counsel at the law firm of Karr Tuttle Campbell, where his practice has focused on transactional work, particularly mergers and acquisitions involving real estate. Luetjen has served as volunteer legal counsel for various non-profit organizations in the Seattle area— Habitat for Humanity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Friends of Dakota Place Park. He holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the Willamette University College of Law.

Spencer Tunnell is a principal of Tunnell & Tunnell Landscape Architecture. Since 1998, he has worked on the implementation of the Olmsted Linear Park master plan, receiving the Marguerite Williams award from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. He is past chair of the Atlanta Urban Design Commission and has taught at the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. Tunnell received degrees in Landscape Architecture and Architecture History from the University of Virginia and worked with landscape architect Edward Daugherty from 1980-1988.

Wyman Winston is a Chairman of the 30th Street Industrial Corridor and former Executive Director of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, he received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before moving to Wisconsin, Winston worked at South Shore Bank of Chicago, the first community development bank in the US, and later Deputy Director and COO of the Portland Development Commission and Deputy Director of the Atlanta Development Authority Tax Increment Division.
