About National Cash Register
Between 1899 and 1932, the Olmsted Brothers designed the landscaping and layout for the National Cash Register complex. The firm prepared plans for the property’s factory sites, dormitories, and officers club. Additionally, the plan featured several recreation fields including a boy’s garden, ball playing field, and open air gymnasium. Located in Dayton, OH, the project reflected the company’s desire to provide quality accommodation and facilities to its employees. The National Cash Register Corporation left the site in 2009, and revitalization efforts are ongoing.
