About University of Alabama

The Olmsted Firm drew plans for the University of Alabama in the 1950s and 1960s. Their development of the campus included a new men’s residence hall, sorority houses, and physical education gyms. The proposed redevelopment plan (07967-68-pt1) included the area south of University Avenue and allocated space for additional parking, dormitories, and practice and intramural fields.
