William Bell is an attorney from New York City in private practice as a litigator, primarily in maritime law and, more recently, in a wide range of civil litigation in State and Federal courts. He serves as Board Vice President of the Friends of Olmsted-Beil House on Staten Island. He currently works in the Legal Referral Service of the New York City Bar Association (NYCBA). He is also a member of the NYCBA and the Maritime Law Association. He volunteers in pro bono programs at the NYCBA and Federal Court in Brooklyn. U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

A career advocate for outdoor spaces, Stephanie developed her professional niche as a champion for legacy landscapes. With over 30 years of service to the parks, recreation, and nonprofit industries, she has been fortunate to accumulate a diverse - yet intersecting - portfolio of experiences, ranging from running professional golf tournaments, to higher education fundraising, to managing entire historic Olmsted-designed park systems.

Hailing from the mitten State, Stephanie holds two degrees from MSU with a bachelor of landscape architecture, and a master of parks, recreation and natural resources. She earned her Nonprofit Management certificate from Harvard Business School and most recently completed her certification in Board Governance from BoardSource. Her current position is Executive Director for The Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio, a 2,000 acre legacy landscape accredited internationally as a Level IV arboretum. Prior to her arrival in Ohio, she spent a decade as the Executive Director for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy in Buffalo, NY.

Philip Schultz has been involved in housing development and management for more than 40 years— focusing on architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, finance and government relations. He is currently President of Midwest Affordable Housing Corporation. Schultz became interested in Frederick Law Olmsted in the 1980s when he and his wife purchased a home on Newberry Boulevard, which connects Lake Park to Riverside Park in Milwaukee, WI. He previously served as president of Lake Park Friends and Rotary Club of Milwaukee Ecology Committee. He is a 1975 graduate of Lawrence University with a B.A. in English Literature.

Bronwyn Nichols Lodato currently serves as President of the Midway Plaisance Advisory Council (MPAC), and Chair of the Board of Friends of the Parks, Chicago’s city-wide park advocacy organization. Nichols Lodato received a B.A. from Northwestern University. She holds an M.A. in International Relations, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Human Development, all from the University of Chicago. She is an energetic proponent of equitable park policy, advancing parks as accessible, public spaces integral to the city’s infrastructure and vital to the health and well-being of its residents.

Janet P. Atkins is the founder and CEO of Ridgeway Philanthropy LLC. Prior to its founding, she was the CEO & President of Philanthropic Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of Boston based law firm, Goulston & Storrs. Atkins’ primary focus is guiding individuals, families and foundations in the creation of philanthropic strategies to achieve productive, responsible charitable goals. Her leadership has guided the commitment of over $2 billion in philanthropic dollars for nonprofits domestically and internationally. Her career also includes major institutional advancement appointments at Duke University, University of Virginia, Emory University, Georgetown University and Harvard teaching hospitals. Atkins holds a B.A. and M.A. from Emory University, serves on the World Council of the YWCA and on board of the Leventhal Map and Education Center at the Boston Public Library. She was a former board member of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. She and her husband reside in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Layla George is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in fundraising, board development, external relations, conflict resolution, strategy and execution of organization vision and mission.

During her successful seven-year run leading Olmsted Parks Conservancy, she increased annual giving by 250%, tripled public funding, expanded the staff, diversified the board, and helped develop and execute a new strategic plan. She stewarded an $8 million gift, enabling the organization to expand Cherokee Park for the first time in over 100 years with the acquisition of Beargrass Preserve.

She is now excited to use her talents to help other organizations, big and small. As a consultant, she has been tapped by Mayor Craig Greenberg to serve as Project Executive for the redevelopment of the Belvedere in downtown Louisville. George is excited to serve at the helm of this ambitious project to reimagine the 5.5 acre site into a space that will connect our community and showcase the best of what our city and state have to offer.

She was awarded a full tuition scholarship for nonprofit executives from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Business and graduated in May 2018 with her Master in Business Administration. She is a member of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2014.

Marjorie Greville received a B.A. at Salem College in North Carolina, a B.S. in Urban Landscape Architecture from City College in New York, and a Garden Conservation Degree from the Architectural Association in London. Married with three kids, her family lived overseas for thirteen years in Australia, Singapore, and London before moving to Brookline, MA. She now lives in Boston and South Dartmouth and serves on the Board of Directors for the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.

Salmaan Khan is Chief of Staff and Vice President for Planning and Research for the Central Park Conservancy, where he oversees long-term planning and historic research. In this role, he ensures the Conservancy’s work remains grounded in the historic context and purpose of the Park. He directs planning analyses and historical research needed to evaluate new and continuing partnerships and strategic efforts, and to inform modifications to the Park’s capital program. Khan previously served as the Manager of Capital Projects and Planning at Friends of the High Line, where he was involved in the first decade of the High Line’s development. He holds an M.A. in urban planning from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a B.A. in history from Fordham University.

Steven Livengood is Public Historian and Chief Guide at the U. S. Capitol Historical Society (USCHS). He regularly delivers tours about Frederick Law Olmsted and the Capitol Grounds and webinars about Olmsted and his sons. After earning a B.A. in political science at the American University in Washington D.C., and after serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Livengood was a doctoral candidate in U.S. History at Emory University. He served as an association executive and public affairs consultant before joining USCHS. He trains Congressional staff tour guides and Washington city tour guides and organizes volunteers for other Society programs, as well as leading specialized and VIP tours of the Capitol.

Douglas Luetjen serves as the President of the Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks and co-chaired the Seattle Parks and Recreation Olmsted Legacy Task Force from 2018-2019. He is Of Counsel attorney at the Seattle law firm Stokes Lawrence, where his practice has focused on transactional work, particularly mergers and acquisitions involving real estate. Doug has served as volunteer legal counsel for various non-profit organizations in the Seattle area— including Habitat for Humanity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Friends of Dakota Place Park. He holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the Willamette University College of Law

Ashley believes every landscape tells a story. Leading diverse projects at Sasaki, she designs through powerful, impactful narratives that combine art, history, and culture. As a landscape architect, she embraces an integrated approach rooted in ecology, memory, and collaboration.

Specializing in projects across scales, Ashley works on everything from large plans to intimate parks and cultural spaces. Her process is driven by a deep respect for a site’s history and context, bringing these elements together into cohesive, meaningful environments. Collaboration is at the heart of Ashley’s practice. She thrives on working across disciplines to weave diverse perspectives into unified, story-rich landscapes that invite people to connect more deeply with the places around them. From early project planning to site construction and implementation, she is committed to creating spaces that honor the past, engage the present, and inspire the future.

Ashley holds a master of landscape architecture from Cornell University, a master of art in landscape design and planning from The Conway School, and a bachelor of arts in art history from Saint Michael’s College.

Wyman Winston is a Board Member of the 30th Street Industrial Corridor and former Executive Director of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, he received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before moving to Wisconsin, Winston worked at South Shore Bank of Chicago, the first community development bank in the US, and later Deputy Director and COO of the Portland Development Commission and Deputy Director of the Atlanta Development Authority Tax Increment Division.
