Burke, Thomas

J.C. Olmsted and J.F. Dawson made a site visit to Judge Thomas Burke’s property in the Country Club at Spring Beach in winter of 1907. Olmsted made a preliminary plan, advising Burke on orienting the house towards the Olympics, laying out an airy summer residence, and naturalistic planting of shrubs and vines throughout the property. The plan was not implemented and the property was sold in 1931.
