In 1910 Dawson forwarded a preliminary plan and sections for this property in The Highlands, but Hoge and his wife decided not to undertake the work at the time, claiming it would be too expensive for them and they were not thoroughly pleased with the general arrangement. Later when the office of Bebb & Gould burned in 1912, Hoge requested duplicates of the plans and surveys again.
