About Milburn, Anna
J.F. Dawson designed this modest scale, unbuilt landscape in The Highlands. He completed a study for “Development of House & Grounds,” grading plan for the circular access drive, detailed planting plan and list. He also prepared perspective sketches depicting multiple elements of the landscape. Set apart from the house was a long turf rectangle flanked by formal planting beds. Featured plants included azaleas and rhododendrons, flowering cherries, perennials and 1,850 narcissus planted in lawn.
