About Paine, Alexander B.
As neighbors of the Baillargeon's, Mr. and Mrs. Paine asked Dawson for preliminary plans in 1929. The challenge was resolving how best to locate the garage access due to the topography. The firm prepared a number of studies and a report. Shortly later Paine found he would be staying in Philadelphia so all work was halted. Correspondence is held at Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site.
