Dawson initially consulted on the Thomas Stimson property in 1922 and the firm prepared a Preliminary Plan. Then the work was turned over to Charles Platt of New York City at Stimson's request. In 1939 Dawson once again provided advice. This time to Mrs. Stimson regarding subdivision of the orginal lot.
