Downing Park Conservancy

The Downing Park Conservancy works to advocate for the preservation of Newburgh’s aesthetically and historically significant landmark, Downing Park, which is part of the City’s East End Historic District. The Conservancy promotes use of Downing Park by the entire community by sponsoring events and encouraging other organizations to do the same. Sponsored programs will include, but not be limited to cultural, educational, historical and recreational events.
