Parks for all people was one of Frederick Law Olmsted’s guiding principles. Nearly 200 years before the environmental justice movement, he designed parks as democratic spaces. Today, in too many places, these public spaces are under attack, viewed as building sites where access can be limited to those with money and power. This free webinar will examine distressing trends across the country and examine what can be done to ensure parkland is viewed as an essential public amenity.
This panel discussion will be moderated by Bonnie Jean Feldkamp.
