Friends of Montrose Park is dedicated to helping the National Park Service maintain and restore Montrose Park, a national park founded in 1911 in the midst of an urban area. Friends of Montrose Park is an official partner of the National Park Service, supporting Rock Creek Park through its SOLVE (Sustaining Our Lands with Volunteer Energy) stewardship program.
