The Friends of Stonehurst (also known as the Robert Treat Paine Historical Trust) was formed in 1991 to assist the City of Waltham in its stewardship of Stonehurst. It is a fully independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the mission and programs of Stonehurst in areas that are above and beyond the municipal budget. In collaboration with the city, Friends of Stonehurst has built an impressive track record of securing and matching highly competitive grants for capital work and special projects.
