Sudbrook Park
Sudbrook Park
Sudbrook Park enjoys the distinction of having one of the county’s oldest community associations. Since the 1908 inception of the Sudbrook Park Improvement Association, an active community association (now Sudbrook Park, Inc.) has been instrumental in preserving the beauty, history, and cohesiveness of the neighborhood. The association’s civic activism protected the community from such potentially devastating projects as the six-lane Northwest Expressway and Baltimore Metro line. Annual traditions that residents have cherished for decades—July 4th and Halloween Parades, Holiday Tree Lighting, Flower and Bake Sale, and Arts in the Park—continue to reflect the dedication and energy of association members.
