The Rochester Olmsted Parks Alliance is an all volunteer, member supported organization composed of ten community groups with a common interest in Rochester’s Olmsted landscape heritage. We are currently seeking not-for profit status.

Rochester’s Olmsted Parks-from the original 1890s park system designed by Frederick Law Olmsted including Highland, Genesee Valley, Seneca and Maplewood Parks; to later parks, including Cobbs Hill Park and ten squares and malls designed by the Olmsted Brothers- comprise the Rochester Olmsted legacy.

Rochester’s Olmsted Parks Alliance promotes Olmsted’s legacy. They educate and engage the public to make the shared landscape heritage more visible, accessible, to communicate its value, and empower its stewards.
