Planting Fields Foundation is proud to partner with The Cultural Landscape Foundation to bring you a weekend of exceptional Olmsted experiences. In addition to compiling a guidebook of Olmsted-designed sites on Long Island, this partnership also brings the opportunity to participate in private tours of the sites listed in the new publication. Tour sites include public parks such as Caumsett State Park, Bayard Cutting Arboretum, and Cold Spring Harbor Lab, as well as unprecedented access to privately owned Olmsted-designed sites including cemeteries, waterfront private estates, and other sites that are not usually accessible to the public. During these visits, site experts will give in-depth tours of each location.
Registration opening soon! For more information about this event please contact Emily Leger at firstname.lastname@example.org or 516-922-8704 or visit our website at Olmsted 200 at Planting Fields.
Planting Fields Foundation’s Olmsted 200 events are all made possible through generous grant funding provided by the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation.
