Frederick Law Olmsted is regularly recognized as the brilliant mind behind New York’s Central Park, but just across the East River lies another one of Olmsted’s greatest works in Brooklyn: Prospect Park.

March is Women’s History Month and what better time to celebrate Betsy Barlow Rogers, member of the Olmsted 200 Honorary Committee, and trailblazing first president of the Central Park Conservancy (CPC).  

The 138-acre Lake Park in Milwaukee, WI features rustic bridges, winding paths, waterfalls, lake bluffs and natural ravines.
