Join us for an afternoon that will include a presentation, tour, and reception.

Learning Outcomes:
– Discuss the emergence of landscape architecture as a profession and its role as a significant contributor to space and place.
– Describe Olmsted’s understanding of social justice, landscape architecture’s ability to create equitable spaces, the importance of accessibility, and the convergence of these tenants in our society and on our campuses today.
– Explain how the natural environment and landscape architecture fosters mental health and wellbeing on campus and in the community.
– Evaluate the ways in which landscape design principles elevate two different campus settings, one in a bucolic suburban context and one at the urban edge.
