September 20-22, 2023 - Since Olmsted’s bicentennial celebration in 2022, Milwaukee and Lake Geneva have witnessed a resurgence of community interest in nearby Olmsted parks and places. This conference will provide insight into the rich history of these landscapes and what it takes to preserve, protect and steward them.

July 21, 2023 - To mark the conclusion of the “Olmsted 200: Parks for All People” bicentennial celebration, the Olmsted Network partnered with the University of Virgina Press’ Rotunda imprint to make The Papers of Frederick Law Olmsted available to all users free of charge.

June 15, 2023 - Members of Congress will dedicate a Kentucky coffeetree in honor of Frederick Law Olmsted— visionary social reformer, founder of American landscape architecture and the first landscape architect for the U.S. Capitol Grounds.
